  • Boreal Sea - the large body of water that the lands known as Rodentia lie within
  • Chipmunk(s) -  Rodentian folk who are more distantly related to mus and their close cousins the raffs and wolds. The scurries are close cousins. Chits live on the outskirts of mus and wold communities in individual homesteads that are built into hills. pl. chits
  • Chits, the - proper name the race Chipmunks, from chitter
  • Folk - beings with intelligence and culture, especially those with morals, customs, forms of behavior, etc., in an organized society. One apparent rule, at least as the mus are concerned, is that the larger a being gets the less civilized, even intelligent, it is.   • Goff, the - proper name for gophers from geofers
  • Gopher(s) - Rodentian folk, not closely related to either the mus/raff/wold line nor the chit/scurry line but still counted among them. Goffs live mostly underground in networks of tunnels. pl. goffs
  • HarvestTime - name of the years of the hero Kilbey Harvestleaf and his friend Larson
  • Kilbey Harvestleaf - a wold hero known for his unique bright red hair
  • Larson Glimmers - a mus hero during Harvestime
  • Mouse (mice) - Most populous Rodentians, they are folk that settle in large towns and cities.
  • Moon Grove - a mus town
  • Mus - proper name an adjective for the race of mice - a town of mice is a 'mus town'
  • Rat(s) - Rodentian folk not native to Rodentia but seem to be cousins to the mus. They are larger and less civilized in culture than the folk of Rodentia but have some advanced tool-making skills including the use of metal.
    Rath - from ravager, proper name for rats
  • Rodentia - name of the land of the Rodentians. The folk known as Rodentians named their home after themselves.
  • Rodentian - An individual of the folk of Rodentia. "Mus are the most common Rodentians." pl. Rodentians (see entry)
  • Scurr - proper name for squirrels, from scurry
  • Silverreed River - a river that flows between the mus towns of Willow Pointe and Moon Grove
  • Squirrel(s) - Rodentian folk, they are larger cousins of chipmunks, they are known for living in trees. 
  • Willow Pointe - A mus town, home of Larson
  • Wold - Rodentian folk, they are rural cousins of the Mus who live in small countryside towns or homesteads or large extended fmailies. pl. wolds
